Over time I've observed my GPU temperatures rising significantly when under stress. Hotspot readings often climb to 100-105°C and occasionally higher.
My current configuration includes:
B550M AORUS ELITE Rev 1.0
Ryzen 5 5600X
MSI RX 6750XT MECH 2X
24GB RAM
Gamemax 600W PSU
I've attempted the following fixes:
- Cleaning the interior thoroughly, including fans and components
- Adding two additional exhaust fans on the case top
- Opening the side panel
- Reapplying the GPU paste
Due to budget constraints, I can't replace parts, but perhaps a better case would help. Is there any solution that could ease this issue?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
24GB RAM
This setup seems unusual. Are you using mismatched RAM sticks?
Gamemax 600W PSU
All Gamemax units are designed for disposal. Consider replacing your unit with a more reliable one from a neighbor or friend that provides at least 650W and check if the problem continues.
- Adding two additional fans on top of the case (exhaust)
What is your case model?
I don’t have the budget for new hardware
The PSU is crucial for your system. A poorly built unit can cause widespread damage. Expect a complete system failure after that PSU fails.

The 24GB is due to having multiple RAM modules (8+8+8) that I wanted more memory in. I understand it's not recommended, but it hasn't caused any real problems yet. Regarding the PSU, it's a decent brand that came with my PC when it was prebuilt in 2018 and has never been an issue. I believe the problem isn't the PSU itself, even though I considered replacing it. My main concern was the temperatures, which have been consistently high.
