My PC shuts down when I attempt to run tasks needing the graphics card. For example, FurMark 1080p runs smoothly at 61°C max temperature and 200 watts, but 1440p benchmark triggers an immediate shutdown. This issue seems to have emerged recently without any apparent cause—since June I've been gaming on the system after upgrading both CPU and GPU. I've also performed stress tests on the CPU, which didn't lead to a shutdown. Here are the details:

- Windows 10 Pro
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 OC 3x
- MSI B450 Tomahawk Motherboard

The main focus should be on the small PSU. It may be failing, and the GPU's temporary surges are triggering safety measures that cut power. Would you like me to suggest a higher-quality 650W or above PSU?

I share the same thoughts as bignastyid; my initial guess would be the power supply. I plan to swap in a good 650W model and check the results.

The PSU was my initial thought, but with limited experience assembling PCs, I sought a second opinion before investing in a replacement. Appreciate the guidance both! I think I’ll purchase a new PSU and check if the issue resolves.
