PC shuts down unexpectedly without a crash screen during Escape From Tarkov gameplay
The title hints clearly. While playing Tarkov my whole system powers off and restarts on its own. Initially I suspected a power supply problem because I have a Ryzen 9 with a 3070 and a 750-watt unit, so I ran CPU and GPU tests together (Prime95 and Furmark) without any crashes. In the Event Viewer I see an error labeled “kernel power”. I’ve reset my PC completely and even reinstalled Tarkov without success. Is this related to the game or something else? Here are the specs I have: a prebuilt PC with CPU Ryzen 9 5900X, GPU RTX 3070, PSU Corsair RM750. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
It seems a BIOS upgrade might be advisable right now. System RAM details aren't specified, so I'll assume the default setting or enable XMP as appropriate. Testing with standard options will help confirm the best path forward.
