PC shuts down unexpectedly and the display turns black until a complete restart occurs.
I've experienced this problem for a while now. My computer suddenly freezes and the screen turns black without needing a hard restart. Once it restarts, the display works again, but it keeps freezing at random times. After rebooting, the driver auto-disables and then restarts normally until the next freeze. The issue happens without any specific app or situation—sometimes while browsing with Chrome, other times when idle. I've had my motherboard (TUF B550 Plus) and RAM (4x8GB, 3200MHz) checked by the service, but they found no faults. They only updated the BIOS before I sent the board in and haven't found anything wrong yet. I've also stress-tested the GPU and CPU, and they functioned fine for at least 15 minutes under load. I've changed drivers and even reinstalled Windows, but no errors appeared. I don't have spare parts to replace, so I'm unsure what part might be faulty. My PSU is Corsair RM750, CPU is Ryzen 5 3600, GPU is ROG Strix RX 5600 XT, motherboard is TUF B550 Plus, RAM is Corsair 4x8GB 3200MHz DDR4, and I'm using two monitors—one MSI G241 (main) and an older Samsung LED (VGA). I've been using this setup for nearly two years without such issues, except after moving to a new apartment. A friend suggested power instability could be the cause, but I'm still unsure. Please help if you can offer any insight. I'm running out of options and replacing everything at once would be costly right now.
I experienced a comparable issue with Aida64 and AMD drivers. Consider disabling any monitoring tools.
