Experiencing a persistent problem recently, some games I play suddenly crash my setup after just a few minutes of launch. It depends on the game—ranging from heavy titles to smaller indie projects—I’m unsure what might be causing it. My system isn’t very advanced, but I’ll share any details that could help someone identify the issue. The monitor freezes quickly, then a black screen appears with certain elements glowing yellow or red. After a brief reset, the game restarts without any blue screen or error messages. I’ve experimented with adjusting settings, but nothing seems to resolve it. My hardware includes: Windows 10 Pro, NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super, Intel i9-9900K (4 cores, 4.00GHz), EVGA Supernova 850 G2 power supply, 4GB RAM (8GB total), and BIOS from America Megatrends Inc. 1302. I’m using the MOBO ROG MAXIMUS XI with the latest version.

Remove the GPU drivers and install a fresh copy of the system. Run memory tests to check temperatures on CPU and GPU while under load for initial verification.

Checked for any changes in the BIOS. If needed, reset everything back to defaults. Only turn on XMP if it occurs again; otherwise, skip it and run the system at JEDEC to test functionality.

I attempted to use some features in Bios but struggled to grasp half of them, so I opted for the default setting. I’ll try enabling XMP next time.

It seems your system is experiencing instability with frequent crashes. You might want to check your RAM usage and ensure it's properly installed. If the issue persists, consider updating drivers or checking for software conflicts.
