I own this machine for roughly a year now and everything functions properly until recently. A few weeks ago it began shutting down unexpectedly. All indicators, including the power switch, cease working except for the RAM RGB light. Pressing the power button doesn’t produce any response, so I must unplug and reconnect the PSU. Initially, I suspected the CPU was overheating, so I reapplied thermal paste which slightly lowered temperatures and the system seemed stable for a while, but it resumed the issue. I also observed an odd behavior: if I hit my desk with a fist, the computer restarts or powers back on. Considering these points, I think there might be an unstable connection somewhere inside the PC—possibly related to the PSU or internal components. I briefly checked for loose connections after applying thermal paste, but found nothing obvious. It’s possible the power supply is faulty. Before investing in further repairs, I’d like to see if anyone has encountered similar problems or suggestions.

I'm betting that the low-cost power supply or its connections are the issue.

I believe the PSU might be the issue. Or perhaps the wiring was incorrect.

Wouldn't you think it's more likely the first option?

Possible yes but you mentioned you've already looked.
