Hi!
According to the thread title, my PC keeps restarting during gaming and I’m not sure why. (Temperatures are normal)
Some people think it’s related to power supply issues but I checked with HWinfo and didn’t find any problems. Or maybe someone can assist by reviewing my logs (last line before automatic restart).
Here’s the link to the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing
I’ve tried the following:
- Updating BIOS to the latest version
- Updating and reinstalling graphics card drivers
- Disabling XMP
- Removing OC
- Undervolting my GPU
- Reducing board power
It started a few days ago, but I didn’t modify any settings.
My setup is:
MBD: ASRock B450 Pro4
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
GPU: Sapphire Nitro AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT
RAM: Viper Steel DDR4 3200MHz
PSU: NZXT C650 Gold
Thanks!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Have you updated your BIOS to the latest version yet? Did you reset the CMOS after confirming your BIOS was flashed?

their C series receives fairly high ratings.
the maximum suggested power for the RX 6650 XT is around 600w.
you should be comfortable with that capacity as long as the device isn't deteriorating quickly.
how long has it been operating?
you might want to clear all graphics-related files using DDU, then reinstall the newest available driver from AMD.
what do you think is "normal"?
and what tool are you using to monitor live temperatures until the system restarts?

Yeah, I haven't tried to reset my CMOS yet, maybe I'll give it a shot if it helps.
I set my RAM to Auto mode.
My power supply is two years old.
The PSU is also two years old.
I usually uninstall with amdcleanuputility. Does it work the same or should I use DDU?
I'm using both my AMD Adrenaline and HWInfo to monitor temperatures, which stayed between 60 to 70 degrees.

DDU can delete all graphics-related information when executed from Windows Safe Mode.
the AMD tool simply executes its standard uninstaller and restores any AMD settings to the original state.
keeps system drivers and other associated files intact.

I understand.
Then I'll attempt to reinstall my graphics drivers and restart the CMOS battery.
I'll let you know if it succeeds or not.
Appreciate your assistance so far!

selecting to apply Load Optimized Defaults following a BIOS upgrade should be the preferred choice.
