These games are the only ones that completely shut down my computer, while everything else runs smoothly without any problems. My system specs are: 5600x CPU, 5700XT GPU, 650W PSU, 16GB RAM at 3600MHz. I’m not sure what’s best to fix this—I recently reset the whole PC and cleared all data as a clean slate. The problem disappeared after reinstalling it, but it still happens when I play other tough games. I suspect it’s not hardware-related, but no one seems to agree. If anyone has advice, please share. I’d also like to report this bug, though they often dismiss my reports.

It's quite unusual. Have you checked if overclocking affects Horizon, or have you turned off XMP and driver DDU settings to rule them out?

occurs with Horizon 4 as well; I'm going to give it another shot. Probably a power supply problem, but I just streamed the new one and everything worked fine. Really odd behavior.

Forza Horizon 5 feels unusual compared to previous entries. Many players struggle even to launch it properly. I stopped playing for a while due to random crashes when exiting the garage. Most issues occur in the Rally or Hot Wheels DLC sections, though some happen in the base game too. It’s unclear why, but adjusting certain settings sometimes resolves the problem—possibly related to Nvidia/AMD hardware. These games are quite peculiar, so experimenting is necessary to find what works for me.
