I just switched my PSU to a 1050-watt Cougar 80 Plus Golf, but the problem remains.

Open your BIOS settings. Restore it to the standard configuration if needed. Locate the option to adjust the PCIe version and update it to Version 3. Apply the changes and reboot the system.

Here’s what occurred, I undervolted the GPU and it functioned properly for 15 to 20 minutes longer than before, but after that I will repeat the same action.

Undervolting isn't always reliable. A consistent reference point must exist first before making these adjustments.

I adjusted it to version 3 and tested it during our conversation, but I’m just wondering if that would reduce the bandwidth and affect performance.

The reduction isn't expected to be significant. Is the system functioning properly at this point?
Did the BIOS update occur to the latest non-Beta release?

They are linked together in a chain using daisies, driven by the power supply unit.

The problem appears fixed, but what should you do? Consider changing the GPU.
