I recently put a brand new Samsung SATA 1TB SSD into my PC. This was my first time installing an SATA SSD, so I found myself having some trouble and wasn’t sure if I made any mistakes. I already have two other SSDs: C, which is a 1TB Samsung M.2 drive, and G, a 2TB ADATA M.2 SSD that tends to be unreliable. Before the installation, my PC was functioning normally, and I thought everything went smoothly. After the crash, the screen goes black and the mouse behaves strangely. It doesn’t seem like a typical issue with a brand new SSD. Could there be another cause? After turning it off and on again, I could open Task Manager while the system was still running, but it takes about two minutes to start making changes. All items in Task Manager looked okay. Was there anything wrong during the installation process? It feels like it might have been hardware, power supply, or something related to the power source. I attached a video showing the crash so anyone can see what happened. This never occurred before installing an SSD. Please help—I really need this for work.

Try removing the SSD and check if the issue resolves.
