PC specifications include an i7 13700K processor, RTX4070ti graphics card, 32GB DDR5 RAM (two sticks), 6TB SSD with PCIe 4 storage, and a Gigabyte B760 Gaming X AX motherboard. I previously used an Intel XTU after discovering that the motherboard’s overclocking features were limited, though the Core and voltage settings were fixed. Adjusting multipliers for the E cores often led to immediate thermal throttling, and any changes in advanced settings would cause the system to shut down and display a BIOS recovery screen.

For reference, I performed a Userbenchmark PC Test and it indicated that my GPU was overperforming while my CPU was underperforming significantly. The GPU score was 251%, and the CPU score was 116%. I plan to run a Cinebench test to verify these findings.

If your computer is supposedly not performing within expectations on default settings, something is wrong and you should fix that before overclocking, because overclocking decreases stability and can cause other issues.

the bios might be locked with an overclock to safeguard the system, so you should look for the setting and release it.
