if it does work now, why bother? maybe unplugging and replugging would have fixed, which you did, which also you plugged into another socket.

I have a Ryzen 7 5800x with an RTX 3070, 64GB RAM, and a 700W power supply.
The system started working after I unplugged it from one port in the surge protector and then another. It restarted properly.
I’m unsure what caused the problem, but I suspect it might be static buildup. A new throw pillow was recently added to my bed, though its material is unknown, but it seems likely to generate static charge.
It might have been a sudden jump on the line that didn't disturb other devices, or a tough software issue, but if it keeps happening, the PSU is likely the first thing to investigate.
