You can't just turn it on or off! Well, actually, you can. Of course not at the same moment as the launch, let alone the same year. But in a couple of years I’m pretty sure Microsoft will bring the MCC collection for PC. Back then, people would have thought it impossible—Dead Rising 3 wouldn’t be on PC, Ryse wouldn’t exist, and so on. They’d probably focus all their efforts on Halo for a while, but eventually they’d shift to Halo MCC for PC, or they’d just be insane otherwise.

Yeah, Dead Rising 2 was mainly available on PC a few years back, and Ryse isn't really a top seller. I haven't encountered many more Xbox games getting onto PC... since they're rare. Microsoft seems to prefer having a standout title for Xbox, and honestly, Halo is the only one they currently offer. Maybe Halo will fade into obscurity if it loses interest. If it stays popular, we probably won't find it on PC at all.

I’d spend a lot of cash on Master Chief Collection for PC.

The issue is that launching Halo 2 on PC is quite difficult.

If they ever launched it for PC, it could demonstrate their commitment to the big audience on their platform.
