I have been having this problem for the past several months, though in the last month it has become very bad. In the middle of playing a game the screen will suddenly go black and say no DP signal. The PC continues to run (ie case fans spinning, CPU and GPU fans also spinning). There is no noticeable change in the sound of the pc (ie fans ramming up). There is no way to wake the PC up. Restarting works fine and the PC seemingly runs ok though it may immediately repeat the issue when i start a game. The timing differs it can go hours without stopping or sometimes 30 seconds after i start a game. I have reinstalled all sorts of drivers (clean graphics drives install). Taken one stick of RAM out and then the other to see if a RAM problem, but issue persists. I swapped out my GPU with my old 1660 Super but issued persisted. I feel it must be a PSU issue but have no spare I could use. The fan for the PSU doesn't spin sometimes however it being a RM750x that could be due to its ability to do zero RPM and still work. I've tried checking the windows reliability monitor but apart from me shutting it down after it goes weird nothing i can see is showing. I tried doing a memory diagnositic test and nothing come up. I updated the BIOS but nothing changed. GPU or CPU isn't overheating according to Afterburner. Hey, I've been facing the same problem since the September 1 Windows update. I'm trying to understand what's going on. No luck so far—will share a photo and more info this afternoon. The reliability report mentions a hardware issue.
Hi there. I've noticed this problem intermittently over the past few months. At first it was rare—just once a week or less—but it started happening more often around July/August, usually every hour. When I took my PC to a repair shop, they fixed it in about five days and said they could only reproduce the issue once. They admitted they didn’t know what was causing it and suggested I hadn’t updated drivers or BIOS beforehand. Oddly enough, since then the problem has disappeared completely, lasting about two weeks now. I’m not sure if it’s fully resolved.
