You can also swap out the bios chip. I’ve used "biosdepot" on eBay. It’s been a while, so I’m not sure if he’s still available. I’d prefer to install whatever BIOS version you wanted. Leaving the CMOS cleared for a long time sometimes works. Occasionally, a quick hammer upgrade helps... lol. Let me know if you have any other ideas.
