The hard drive might be the problem, as it's one of the components I saved from my old computer. I kept checking its status for any issues.

I’d review the other details first. Lower budget. Unless you’re looking to upgrade and drain your savings quickly. This situation is common here.

Instant idea, very unlikely: hard drive age? Not old enough to rely on outdated tech? Could have jumpers on it? Might suggest replacing it with a brand new SSD.

Currently not working. The Vcore fix worked briefly (adjusted to +0.048V), but it crashed again while I was typing (I'm getting emotional 😅).

Are you repeating the setup multiple times? Does it freeze at the same location? I’m confused—this seems odd. How, what, where, when, I don’t understand why!

It's not too long ago, right? I was trying to cut costs but wouldn't have kept a prehistoric hard drive. I'm reaching out to some friends to see if we can swap one another: c

This time the setup was more complex. However, it might not have been able to complete it, unfortunately

Do you have a thumb stick and another PC available? If yes, prepare a bootable USB for future troubleshooting. Install Ubuntu on it—this lightweight OS looks similar to Windows. Perfect for quick access whenever you need an operating system on the go!
