Hey everyone, this has been a recurring issue for me lately. My PC restarts randomly—sometimes once a day, other times multiple times daily—and sometimes it works fine. It mostly happens during gaming or when I was just watching videos. After restarting, the system shows a message about default performance tuning settings being restored because of an unexpected failure. Anyone have any advice?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Take a moment to verify your BIOS version for your motherboard. Regarding your operating system, check if it requires an update. After that, employ DDU to eliminate all GPU drivers from your system (Intel, Nvidia, AMD) and then reinstall them manually using the most recent driver available from AMD's support site in an elevated command prompt, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Thank you for your message.
The BIOS information indicates the system was from 11/08/2022, and I didn't update it during setup because everything seemed normal.
I'm currently trying the DDU method to check if it resolves the problem.
I purchased this PSU new in April 2023, when I assembled my PC; I assume it's not the cause since the system restarts instead of shutting down.

My initial thought would be that the power supply unit is malfunctioning.

Could checking the PSU help determine if the problem lies there?
