It isn't completely loaded, which means it doesn't need extra effort to handle the job quickly since it can work faster with a lower clock speed.

Testing near maximum utilization could boost clock speed, but verify with your system's limits. There are tools and software available to monitor performance under heavy load.

When not in full use and just a single core remains, that core is the only one that will increase to that specific frequency.

uses prime95 or comparable tools. once started, it processes across all cores near the base clock speed. if it fails to recognize it as a power virus, you can proceed with Cinebench R15 or R20 instead.
