Pc problems
For roughly a week I’ve faced issues with my PC. It would power up, spin the fans, but display the code “FF.” Changing the CMOS battery didn’t help. Swapping all four RAM sticks and replacing the hard drives still resulted in the same “FF” error. The machine would turn on briefly, then stop, and briefly activate the keyboard before shutting down again. I’m stuck and haven’t found a solution yet.
I’m just starting out with PC gaming, so please forgive any confusion. Your setup includes a JINGSHA X79 motherboard, 4 x 4GB RAM sticks, an Intel Core i7 processor, and a GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 560 graphics card.
I searched for your MOBO but found limited documentation available. It seems unclear what FF refers to. If you've already tried replacing RAM one stick at a time, exchanging the motherboard might be a better option. Generally, a faulty board is more likely than a defective CPU. When removing the CPU, are any of the contact pins on the CPU under the board bent?
I think the PSU is the issue since it powers on but there’s almost no electricity reaching the USB and HDMI connections.
