he recently assembled his computer and encountered random shutdowns while playing red dead 2. the ram lights stay on even though the pc powers down. i suspect the power supply unit isn't the issue given the 850w gold model, but it's possible the bios is the culprit. since the motherboard supports 3 gen processors and a recent bios update resolved compatibility, the problem might be overheating—he’s using the included CPU cooler.
