If other RAM units show the same fault, the problem might lie with the CPU IMC (integrated memory controller). Yet Ryzen and Corsair Vengeance don't integrate well together, suggesting the issue could be with the CPU IMC. The only suggestion I have is to reinstall Windows on a different drive that's still available.
I ran a stress test with Prime95 using the RAM to check for issues. No problems were detected. The test reached a high temperature of up to 86°C. I have an old RAM module available, so I plan to test it soon.
I found some interesting things. I experimented with a different set of RAM sticks from a friend. Even after installing them, the issue persisted. Recently, I began testing various games to check compatibility. In Battlefield V, I noticed high memory usage in Task Manager—around 55GB, which is about 80-85% of my 64GB. That’s unusual because it usually stays under 25-35% during games. The FPS counter in-game (RivaTunerStatisticsServer) indicated zero VRAM usage, but Task Manager showed 4.7GB. It seems the problem might be with my GPU. I’m hoping I don’t need to replace it since it was costly. What are your thoughts?
Also check the GPU-Z under the sensors section to find out which processes are consuming RAM during gameplay.
I made the mistake earlier. Another program caused a memory leak, consuming around 50GB of RAM. I removed it now, but it wasn’t the root cause. Up to now, GPU-Z shows no odd activity while gaming. Still experiencing lag, low FPS, and many stutters. I plan to bring my GPU to a friend’s PC for testing to check if the issue is hardware-related. Also, I’ll perform a clean Windows installation later this week.
