It would be helpful if you prepared backups of what matters most. Keep in mind that using BitLocker requires extra attention and precautions.

Windows is quite flexible, so you should be okay. However, I suggest a full reinstall to ensure everything functions properly. I usually do this when upgrading the motherboard and CPU. Congratulations on your new upgrade! That performance improvement is impressive—I’m sure you’ll appreciate it too!
