Hello everyone, I'm using a Dell Precision 7720 with an Intel Core i7 7820HQ and Nvidia Quadro P3000. It's running in balanced mode, but when I look at the task bar, the clock speeds only show the maximum speeds listed for the processor, like up to 3.8 GHz. My question is, if I switch to high performance mode, will there be any changes or advantages? Specifically, the maximum turbo speed would be 3.9 GHz—any difference? Thanks.

If you want to boost your laptop's performance further, standard settings won't suffice. Try opening the Command Prompt and running this command: powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61. This will activate the Ultimate Performance Power Plan. Enjoy the improvement!

When entering the text into the command prompt, the clock speed turbo may exceed the suggested 3.9GHz, and you can observe performance improvements at each speed increment.
