It's really frustrating. I tried to assist but wasn't sure if I could. Just go through the steps again and when you're able to boot, flash the BIOS. Make sure to update and then try to flash it once more. There must be something you can do because I know Gigabyte offers dual BIOS for this price point. It's possible you accidentally messed up something during the CMOS clear with the battery on. The issue seems to come after that. If everything is connected properly, your SATA cables and Windows drive should work. This likely relates to the BIOS. I wouldn't say your motherboard is damaged unless it's definitely broken. Personally, I've had a bad experience with Gigabyte before and now I won't buy from them again. I promise I was loyal to them until recently. Just keep trying and make sure all settings are correct. If the BIOS keeps failing, flashing it again might help. Thanks for reaching out, and I hope you resolve this quickly.

I tried a few times to reach the POST, but it was only helpful occasionally. The BIOS was already configured as optimized defaults, so I didn’t have much control. However, changing the BIOS settings worked, and the computer started booting properly.

The issue is that this situation had happened before, but now it’s less common. I’m hesitant to turn off Windows because I worry I might lose the ability to start again. Not turning off the PC seems impractical at the moment.

I understand what you're saying, and I hope you can figure it out. Perhaps restarting it a few times will help it get used to booting again, avoiding this issue altogether. It's frustrating to hear that overclocking feels so rewarding the first time you reach stable settings, but having major problems with your PC isn't worth it. I'm glad I managed it. Good night.
