PC not showing screen (new PSU & GPU installed)
I got a new GPU yesterday, along with fresh RAM and a new PSU. It seems to boot up but there’s no display from either the GPU or the motherboard—HDMI and DP aren’t working. I’ve tried without the GPU, using just MB, but still no screen. I changed the RAM and nothing happened. I’ve reconnected every connection wire, but the issue remains. There are no beeps, everything appears to start up normally except for the screen going blank afterward. Edit: I accidentally inserted a DDR5 card into a DDR4 slot, which damaged the slot. That’s all.
Asus ROG Strix Z490-F delivers gaming performance with a powerful ASUS GeForce RTX 4080. It features an Intel Core i9 10900K at 3.7 GHz, 16GB DDR5 memory (2x16GB), and a 6000MHz KF560C36BBEK2-32 RAM. The system includes a 32GB DDR5 DIMM and a 20GB Fury Beast SSD. Built for high performance, it comes with a 1000W ATX gold case from ASUS TUF Gaming.
I noticed the drama light is shining but changing RAM positions doesn't help. Reverting to the original RAM also doesn't make a difference.
