You're facing a frustrating situation with your PC. It seems like the issue started when the task manager didn't respond properly, leading to a slow boot and unresponsive taskbar with a blue loading cursor. The pinned icons are missing, the start menu isn't clickable, and even opening browsers is difficult. After waiting an hour without improvement, the icons still didn't load, and you ended up stuck on a restarting screen. If anyone has dealt with this problem before or found a solution, please share!

Yes, there is a mechanical hard drive inside the PC. It's separate from the SSD.

If you possess the installation disc, you may attempt a repair or a fresh setup. First, detach the HD drive.

It seems you're considering a last resort. I attempted to explore alternatives, but most require admin privileges. If I click right-click on those applications in Windows Explorer, they freeze without ending.

Something comparable occurred to me; my hard drive stopped functioning properly, I had to take it out, and after that everything returned to normal. Eventually, I had to install a new hard drive.

It might be an SSD problem or a faulty cable. Is the default pagefile size correct for your system?

I waited about three hours to check for updates and noticed some changes—taskbar was working, start menu clickable, task manager remained unresponsive, browsers couldn’t open, and file explorer froze on right-click. It’s a bit better now, but it’s just a temporary fix.
