Components -
Ryzen 7 3700x
MSI B450M BAZOOKA
XPG D50 Spectrix 2x8 3200mhz
Asus DUAL RTX 3060
EVGA SuperNOVA 650W 80+ Gold Modular
WD Blue SN 530 256gb m.2 2442
Seagate 4tb HDD

Problem -
Noticed memory speed in Task Manager was only 2933mhz. I adjusted it to 3200mhz via BIOS, applied the XMP profile at that frequency, saved and restarted. The CPU light appeared.
Next, I installed 2x4gb RAM sticks at 2400mhz, but the CPU light persisted.
After reseating the CPU and cleaning the socket with an electric duster, the issue disappeared.
Now testing a Ryzen 7 2700x in the system succeeded, working on all three motherboards.
I’ve tried the 3700x on the mainboard too.
Asus Prime A520M-A II
Asrock x570 Taichi
With RX 580, GTX 980 and RTX 3060 – still no visible improvement despite power being present.
Is this the end?

If the CPU doesn't run on a functional motherboard, it's likely the processor or its memory controller failed. What is the age of your power supply unit?
