It might be influenced by several elements—settings, graphics choices, hardware limitations. Achieving 144hz on such a setup feels challenging. I’m skeptical about reaching those frames rates with an Ryzen 5 1600 and an AMD RX 580.

I aim for a solid 144 with the lowest configurations in competitive play. Upgrading to 3600 should maintain performance well. A GTX 1070 with OC is similar to a stock 1080, so it should handle it nicely.

It should accomplish that. You don't have to use the 10u0 Ti at all. Even a 1060 could handle that many frames. The issue is your CPU can't process them quickly enough. Few CPUs can manage this.

Higher resolution demands more processing power...an i5-3600 would likely manage these better. In short, your processor struggles to keep pace.
