I recently assembled a PC a few weeks ago and when I pressed the power button the motherboard displayed an RGB flash, but every time I pressed it again nothing occurred until I turned off the PSU and then back on. Someone suggested it might be a faulty PSU, so I replaced it with a new one. After that, I upgraded the motherboard to the Thermal Take Smart 600, installed an MSI MGP-A650GL, added an i5 10400F, and finally upgraded to an ROG Maximus XII Hero and an i9 10850K. This time, when I turned the power supply back on without pressing the button, the motherboard’s RGB lit up but nothing else happened. I pressed the power button and the PC failed to boot, and the fans didn’t spin. Could anything be wrong with this setup?
I also connected my keyboard, and the RGB settings on it were functioning properly.

After clicking the power button, I noticed the motherboard's RGB and lights flicker for a moment. I suspect a power supply issue might be the cause—please verify everything. Specs: i5 10400f, GTX 1650, Corsair Vengeance e RGB Pro 2x8gb, 3600mhz, MS Pro Z590... Forums. Please add your build details such as: CPU cooler, motherboard, RAM, SSD/HDD, GPU, PSU, chassis, OS, monitor. Your board includes a BIOS FlashBack button that can also update the BIOS to the latest version. Follow the instructions in the linked video. Have you breadboarded your system? Have you double-checked all connections from your PSU? Did you examine the CPU socket for any bent or damaged pins? Which RAM slots are being used?

I don’t understand what breadboarding is and I haven’t tried it—I’ve checked all connections from the PSU and just looked at my CPU socket.

Then I upgraded to an MSI MPG A650GL and added a ROG Maximus XII Hero with an i9 10850K. This time, when I powered on the PC without pressing the power button, the motherboard’s RGB lit up but nothing else responded. I pressed the power button, but the system failed to boot and the fans didn’t spin. Could there be any issues with this setup? I noticed the RAM was starting in seats A2 and B2, the BIOS was updated for the i9 10850K, and the keyboard’s RGB also turned on, which made me think it wasn’t a PSU problem.
I'm unsure about which device you're referring to since both the Thermaltake Smart and MSI units are mentioned in different posts. Could you clarify which one you're using?
the i5 listed above comes with a w box cooler, try and see what happens while breadboarded, with one stick of ram in slot A2. You might want to start posting a picture of your CPU socket, in case you're missing any bent or broken pins that may be in plain sight. Yes it's happened to others on these forum.
