PC Noise quieter
PC Noise quieter
Hello Community,
Here are my PC specifications:
- 7700k @4,96 Ghz
- asus rog maximus hero IX
- asus rog gtx 1080 @1951 Mhz
- corsair h100i v2
- corsair rmx 650
- samsung m.2 ssd 960 evo
- samsung 850 evo
- 16 gb ddr4 ram 3000 mhz
- windows 10
- 6x corsair sp120 rgb fans
In my opinion, the PC is quite loud, so I’m curious about ways to make it quieter. Could using extra software like speedfan help? Also, do anyone have useful bios settings? It’s usually around 31 db up to 40 db.

Are you running the stock CPU cooler? Also, six fans! Six is excessive—why do you need so many? You're trying to make your PC work harder and fly? Consider reducing the number of fans or changing them. I use bequite fans that operate quietly. If needed, you can add noise dampening pads inside your case. The pads come in large squares that you can cut to fit.
you have a high-end system you don't require any additional performance upgrades, so overclocking the cpu and gpu is unnecessary. simply downclock them and avoid extra cooling—turn off your fans if that doesn't work. alternatively, you might think about removing some of the fans and using water cooling instead. this would reduce noise significantly. if that still bothers you, consider switching to a larger case with better airflow.
I would still lower the number of fans in your system because it's wasting electricity and is unnecessary. It's not worth it. If you have any questions, let me know.
