PC no work
Friend gave me his PC the power supply is plugged in and everything however not getting any feedback at all, no light on the motherboard no fans nothing, I tried 3 PSU total and nothing what can I do and what am I doing wrong. Ps. Also tested the cable to the wall and it’s reading fine
This situation is quite unusual and shows strong commitment. Just to confirm, do you swap the cable that connects the PC components with the PSU? Even though the cables look similar across brands, each model has its own specific connector standard. Based on your experience testing three PSUs, it seems likely you also managed their cable organization.
It was a mix of modules and some that weren’t, but I got frustrated and pressed the power button—it started working, no idea which part fixed it.
Maybe the power connections are a little wobbly, but at least it functioned now. Or, in anime style, you gained the strength of friendship and dealt with frustration, which solved every impossible issue.
Likely some dust or oxidation was blocking the connection. Applying pressure helped remove the contacts.
