Hello everyone, I need some assistance with my built computer. It's been less than a year and has been functioning well until now. According to the title, after a recent cleaning it stopped sending any video signal. I also noticed a yellow Q-LED on, which my manual indicates is for DRAM. This suggests my system might not be able to POST anymore.

I've already tried rearranging the memory modules and using just one stick. I also disconnected the GPU, HDD, and SSD to check if any of them were causing the problem, but the yellow Q-LED remained.

I'm guessing either both RAM sticks failed suddenly (unlikely) or that the CPU or motherboard is damaged. I would appreciate some second opinions and advice on further troubleshooting steps before making any decisions.

You may need to reset the BIOS. Disconnect from the power source and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Then remove the motherboard battery, leaving it out for about 10 minutes. Replace the battery after 10 minutes and test again.

Check if the issue persists by testing the GPU on another system.

Consider whether any cleaning steps were missed during assembly or maintenance. It might be someone else who performed a basic clean and now the PC won't boot.

It seems most likely connected to your recent action. Ensure all cable connections are tight—you might have accidentally moved something while cleaning.

Did you ensure the fans remained still while using high-pressure air?

I operate with an electric duster and manage to restrain the fans using my hand to prevent them from spinning. Also, there are a few details I didn't mention that could be important. I've already checked all the cables thoroughly and they appear secure. The fans and RGB LEDs still function properly (GPU, RAM, case fans, and motherboard). I'll still verify the connections more carefully as DaleH suggested, but I'll try plugging it in again a bit.

It doesn't appear to be the problem. I reset everything and still don't receive a video signal with the yellow DRAM Q-LED light. Could there be another solution?

You may need to reset the BIOS. Disconnect from the power source and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Then remove the motherboard battery, leaving it out for about 10 minutes. Replace the battery after 10 minutes and test again.

Check if ddr4 or ddr5 is more sensitive to static electricity compared to dd3, which might explain the yellow DRAM Q-LED light. If the issue persists, try testing the GPU on another system.

Don't forget any steps you might have skipped while cleaning the PC. It's possible you didn't clean properly and now your PC won't boot.

The problem was clearing the bios, which is unusual since it started from just a light dusting but is now resolved. Thanks for your assistance!
