I'm dealing with a mouse that feels unstable and causes minor delays in movement. It's been a bit of an issue lately, especially when playing fast-paced games. I've tried cleaning my PC and clearing out files, but nothing seems to fix the problem. The mouse works well with other devices, including my laptop, so it's not a general hardware issue. I've switched to the Razer Viper Ultimate, which is wireless, and it's still experiencing slight input lag. The computer runs smoothly otherwise. I've checked USB ports, especially the USB 2.0 ones, which seem to be the culprit. The mouse is slow and unresponsive, even when connected elsewhere. My keyboard functions normally on USB 2.0 ports. The PC handles demanding games without trouble, but the FPS drops noticeably due to this delay. I'm still trying to figure out what's causing it and haven't found a reliable solution yet.

Hey, did you manage to locate the answer? I discovered that power and USB cables inside the desktop case influence mouse movement. On my laptop, I haven't identified the cause yet—I still use an old Asus G753JT and notice inconsistent mouse input lag both at work and home. It seems to be a very specific issue for this model. I suspect it might relate to the hard drive and EMI protection, something common in laptops but not usually present. Since you mentioned a new laptop, it probably isn't due to repairs. The second repair involved replacing the GPU to enable Gsync, and the fan stopped working. I'm confident it's not the motherboard, as I didn't notice any problems then.
