Looking for compatible motherboards under $100-$120 for the Ryzen 7 5700G? Options like the ASUS ROG Strix Z690 AORUS PRO series or the MSI MEG 16 are popular choices within that price range.

You should consider a solid RAM OC board to enhance GPU performance. For reliable options, look into the B550A Pro, Tomahawk, B550 Steel Legend, or Extreme4 models. These can handle frequencies up to 4000MHz smoothly. If you need more details, budget, country of use, intended applications, or a parts list would be helpful. Do you have any existing components from another system?

I'm based in Greece and mainly use my PC for gaming. I'll wait for GPU prices to fall before upgrading, but for now I'm using this setup. The case costs around $61.

that's a very low budget. If it says B550, then it'll 'work'.

B520 and B550 boards can run 5700G, though some need a BIOS update. Look for models with BIOS Flashback capability—updating the BIOS via USB without a processor. B520 boards offer restricted overclocking, just two memory slots, fewer USB ports, but they’re affordable and functional. If you won’t upgrade beyond a 10-core processor, these boards work fine. For budget constraints, avoid spending $60 on a cheap case; instead, shop online, check marketplaces, and consider used listings. RGB fans are often unnecessary since airflow mainly comes from side panels. Many may lack addressable RGB headers, and a single 5700G CPU can manage airflow with its cooler and one back fan.
