For optimal in-game results? ...It's about the motherboard. We're not talking about the early 2000s anymore. Mid to high-end boards have minimal impact on current hardware performance. Unless you're aiming for extreme overclocking, these chipsets will suffice. If you intend to push them hard, the x570 series is built to manage the higher TDP of top-tier Ryzen processors more smoothly. The Mortar also offers solid VRM design.
The price of €570 for a 2070S feels high compared to the 5700XT Pulse at €375. It seems like spending €200 more isn't worth it.

Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate the build. Apart from the 2070 super, everything looks great, but the issue is the monitor cost—around $300 to $500 or more for that BenQ Zowie XL2546. That pushes my budget over the edge. I’d need to cut something to still enjoy a 240Hz experience, which I think is important for gaming.

Random freezes, loss of display, game crashes, BSODs, and stuttering have become common issues. Enhanced synchronization often made them worse when turned on. I switched back to Linux temporarily, where everything functioned properly, giving my gaming experience a noticeable improvement compared to Proton. Recently returned to Windows for development work, and the latest drivers have performed well so far.
