In recent weeks my computer would suddenly go black. The issue also appeared in the BIOS. When it blacked out, any audio would pause briefly before returning to normal. To escape the situation, I had to force shut down or restart the system.
I attempted using DDU to uninstall the GPU driver in safe mode and installed older drivers. I also tried reseating the GPU.
I also used a different PSU from another computer. Initially it worked, so I replaced my old one with a new one. However, the problem returned later.
The issue happens when the computer is under stress but not under heavy load.

Have you experimented with relocating the GPU to another device and observed any changes? If yes, the problem likely lies with the GPU. I also replaced the PSU on another machine; initially it worked but later reverted. Could you provide the original make, model, and age of that PSU?
Motherboard equipped with the newest BIOS (version 2.B). Kingston 2x4GB DDR3 RAM installed. Attempted to re-seat the RAM, hoping it would resolve the issue. Also tried installing one stick of RAM. The CPU is cooled by a Cooler Master i70C unit. Temperatures are slightly elevated, likely around 60°C at idle (possibly due to low-quality thermal paste). No prior experience with this setup. Will proceed.
Old PSU is a Cooler Master Elite 550W V2. This power supply is approximately 13 years old. Consulted a PSU tier list (SPL's PSU Tier List) and discovered the old unit has poor ratings. Conducted further research and identified MSi mag a650bn as a suitable option with a reasonable rating, fitting within my budget.
