My computer has stopped running games after being built over six months ago. I've attempted several fixes—reinstalling drivers, Windows, and game files—but nothing seems to help. Stress tests passed, yet the GPU hits maximum usage quickly during loading, sometimes freezing entirely in the screen or not playing at all. No components appear to be overclocked; the GPU was purchased new. For Gears of War, a D3D device crash appears, though the error description suggests outdated drivers, which aren't the issue. In Cyberpunk 2077, an error message pops up about a GPU crash with no clear cause. When trying Elden Ring, it crashes immediately without any warning, and my audio stops working. I've had to turn off and restart my headphones. On Minecraft with shaders, it also stops without reporting an error. PC specs: CPU 12,600K, Motherboard ROG Strix Z690 A Gaming, Wi-Fi d4, RAM Patriot Viper Steel 16GB DDR4 4400 CL 19, Storage 2TB Pro Samsung 1TB, GPU Msi 3060 Ventus 3x 12G, Power Corsair RM850X, OS Windows 11 Pro. Drivers version 31.0.15.3141, version 531.41.
Have you verified the GPU temperatures and clock speeds? Also, check the DDU drivers and consider reinstalling them.
I checked the temperatures and timers. CPU and GPU temps stayed below 75°C. I ran DDU twice, and the GPU clocks seem fine. You can take a screenshot of them on GPUU if you need.
