I'm not a big gamer, but I want to push my new PC to its limits with a game. The specs I have in mind are:
FPS – I think they’re demanding a lot of resources.
Steam – free or under $5 (I already have a 5$ credit).
Less than 50 gigabytes of space – most of my NVME drive is occupied by WoT and Armoured Warfare.
I’m looking for a game, not a generic benchmark, since what works for one person doesn’t always work for another. Playability varies widely, and benchmarks rarely give clear answers.
What do you suggest?
To be honest, I only have 20 cores and 40 threads on my twin Xeons, 32GB of ECC RAM (a workstation), and the chance to run two GTX 660s.

I was planning to mention GTA V, but that title is enormous. Perhaps consider a different Call of Duty multiplayer or single-player option.

Oh man, I didn't catch that. Maybe you can find a copy on G2A, Kinguin, or similar places. It's one of those non-flagship games, like Cod Bo4 or something from a couple of years back.

Non flagship is acceptable, what does BO4 refer to? Is it related to the CoD series or something completely different? That's what you're asking about.

Treyarch makes all the black ops call of duty games.
black ops 1     bo1
black ops 2 (best one, kinda old though)     bo2
black ops 3         bo3
black ops 4        bo4
btw, mega typo, bo4 is from this year, so maybe bo3.

don't worry about bo2 and bo1, unless theres a bundle or something. My poopy PC, even when it had my 960 2gb I could run bo2 multiplayer with 30 people in a game with ease. My integrated GPU in my a8-6600k actually is able to run it without a card.

Warframe is a completely free FPS with outstanding visuals. It offers some of the best available right now. If you have a Blizzard account and claim it during my free time, it's more intense than usual.

Completely overlooked that one... I believe I already have an account for that game. Thanks!
