I assembled a PC two weeks prior and it functioned properly after installing Windows 11. Recently, during startup after the BIOS screen, the display goes black and the fans speed up significantly, particularly around the GPU. The BIOS itself operates normally without any crashes. I've attempted several fixes: resetting the BIOS and replacing the CMOS battery, updating to BIOS version 7.07 (B760M PG Riptide), removing one RAM stick at a time while booting with just one, re-seating the GPU and reconnecting power cables, using a Linux USB environment which crashes instantly when selecting, trying or installing Ubuntu as described, removing the M.2 SSD and booting from a USB flash drive, reinstalling Windows which works once (including restarting without drivers and then again), but it still crashes randomly during video driver installation. I also removed the USB drive and tried booting without drivers, but it started again. This is the PC model: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/H4gHh3. Please help and apologize for my poor English. Thanks in advance!

It seems the GPU works without drivers, but it crashes when drivers are installed. What type of PSU do you have?

Thanks for your prompt response. I plan to reinstall Windows and test if it functions without drivers for a more extended period.

Checked all settings using default/auto in BIOS. Also, verified if RAM operates with expo and adjusted to 4800MHz.

I've already tested the defaults, but I believe memory overclocking is turned on by default. After a clean Windows setup without installing AMD drivers, I'll see if it can remain stable.

You have the option to turn off expo for testing purposes.

Without drivers, the problem persisted after about 10 minutes, causing a black screen and loud fans. The system wouldn’t boot at all, and changing the DRAM speed didn’t help much. It only worked temporarily during a fresh installation for a short time, but then it stopped functioning permanently.

In the asrock bios, it seems you're unsure about disabling expo while auto-setting XMP. You might need to check the specific menu options or settings for that feature.
