I already have an Xbox 360 home LAN with 12 consoles for System Link gaming. I'm considering switching to PCs and have a Windows server with Active Directory and file sharing. I need a way to buy game licenses per PC, not per user, since different people play at different times. Many of the games I want are available on the Windows Store and Steam. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
It would be possible to have 12 steam accounts, one per computer... this would ensure full compliance. You wouldn't require an active directory or file sharing setup on the server for a home network. A basic network switch would suffice.
