Hi, I upgraded my PC a year ago with a new GPU, which allowed me to play games. All games were running smoothly, maintaining 60 fps on high settings. About a week ago, when I started playing Rocket League, I experienced severe issues and couldn't even play normally. I initially thought it was an internet problem. The next day the same happened, so I tried other games, but they were also unplayable. I can no longer enjoy the games I used to play.

Please help, thanks in advance.

Sure, I can demonstrate how it would appear as a task manager during the game.

Are there any tasks consuming CPU resources? Have you installed additional programs that operate in the background, such as antivirus software? Review the memory usage.

Well, it's still running in the game, but the CPU isn't a concern (I think).
Edited: discovered a button that displays tasks and processes for all users, even though there aren't other users present. There are three times more tasks than shown here. I plan to keep posting this tomorrow since I don't have time right now. Also, RAM usage is around 2GB without any programs running, which seems unusual for the PC when it's just idling.

2GB is typical for a contemporary 64-bit OS during inactivity. This is why gaming isn't done on 4GB anymore, and 8 is now seen as the essential amount.

I understand you're aiming for a 2x4 gb kit, but the current post mentions a 4gb version. With 4gb you can play games now, while 2x4 would be smaller.

When something runs on Windows, performance will always change. Just saying, lol.
