Absolutely, and that's why I'm interested in finding the optimal setup. It looks like upgrading both the graphics card and processor offers the best results compared to just improving the CPU alone.

I’d hold off on upgrading the CPU until more is known about AMD’s progress. Offering payment could encourage patience while they develop a new model. Which other titles are causing similar problems?

I have no problems with Minecraft and my CPU matches yours. I play both vanilla versions and use Feed the Beast. For most recent games, a bit of detail would help—what titles are you interested in? I don’t own Farcry 4 yet, as I’m still gathering more feedback before deciding. That makes it hard to say if your CPU was the issue or something else on your end.
