PC lacks a screen yet supports remote access.
About twelve hours prior, rain fell near my home and a powerful thunderstorm erupted overhead. Just before I wrote this message, I realized that when I attempted to power on my PC, it failed to appear... I have a TV and a monitor set up as displays. Fortunately, the TV works, but the monitor stopped functioning completely. I've experimented with resetting the monitor's and TV's power connections, but nothing has been restored. I've also tried switching the TV's inputs (VGA and HDMI) and even used a spare monitor via VGA, yet no image shows up. Luckily, Parsec is installed, confirming the system boots normally. Parsec lists both devices in Windows and Nvidia control panel, but still nothing appears. I've adjusted resolutions without success. When checking with MSI Afterburner to see if my GPU remains active by altering fan speed, it does respond—suggesting the GPU isn't entirely dead. My concern is whether it's salvageable. I plan to test another monitor tomorrow to determine if the issue lies in the cables or the GPU ports. Thanks ahead! Specs: Ryzen 3 2200G MSI B450M PRO VDH Zotac 1650Super (HDMI and DVI-to-VGA)
After testing my friend's monitor, I'm relieved to say my GPU functions properly. It connects via the same cable I use at home and shows normally through HDMI. However, it remains frustrating that both my TV and my smaller monitor didn't display anything at all—possibly the ports are damaged. I might need to try DVI when I return to my home setup, though I still have some doubts about them. Thanks for your reply!
