PC keeps crashing when Windows 11 is installed
This is a PC related question. I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the software that's causing the crashes. Since booting up for the first time, installing windows, and trying to download drivers, the display will freeze after a while. Time between freezes varies from immediately after entering my pin to 2 hours after usage. There is no blue screen, the display just freezes in place. Not sure if this is related, but the rgb on my fans also stays on even when powering off the pc.

16AWG psu cable extenders (new)
Fixes I already tried
:
Reinstalled CPU drivers: still froze
Updated GPU driver: still froze
Ran just bios for 3 hours: no freezing
Fresh reinstall of windows: still froze after downloading drivers
Disk cleanup, defragment and optimize drivers, and set all bios settings back to default: pc ran for 5 hours straight without freezing, rgb turned off normally when pc shut off. Next day, pc froze after 15 minutes of being on and rgb didnt turn off when pc powered down.
I know it's not an issue with any of my hardware since the PC will not freeze while I am in BIOS. I was told on another
forum
to look at event viewer to see what was running during the crash. I have those events downloaded, but I do not know how to read them. The event viewer files are on the forum I linked since I get an error when trying to link them here.
Any help would be appreciated. I was really looking forward to using my new PC, but these crashes are making it impossible. I have tried getting help from friends with PCs, Reddit, and Microsoft Questions but have not been able to figure out what's truly wrong.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Which BIOS version are you using for your motherboard?
16AWG psu cable extenders (new)
Do you have a link to these? Try without the cable extensions.
Power supply: vetroo 850w (new)
Vetroo is the brand, and 850W is the advertised power rating. Please share the model of your unit.
Disk cleanup, defragmentation, and driver optimization,
De-fragmenting an SSD is not recommended. Can you explain how you improved drivers?
A fresh Windows reinstall still causes freezing after downloading drivers
Where did you obtain the OS installer from?
You might want to use DDU to clear all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then manually install the latest GPU driver from Nvidia's support site. Run the installer as an administrator via Right-click > Run as Administrator.
Check the reliability history (search for it in the Windows search box). If you notice something like "A hardware problem prevented Windows to work properly," it indicates hardware failures. Not crashing during BIOS setup doesn't rule out a hardware issue, particularly after a fresh Windows installation and still experiencing problems. Components are likely running at a minimum level in the BIOS.
Also, if you have a used motherboard, it's unclear what the previous owner did with it. When purchasing everything new except one faulty part, the most probable cause is the used component.
I am using BIOS F35. The connection to the power cables can be found here, and this is the power supply unit. After optimizing drivers, I went to Defragment and Optimize Drivers, then clicked my C: drive and optimized it. My friend recommended this action. When I first turned on my PC, Windows was already active. She assisted in setting it up, but didn’t realize Windows was already activated because she hadn’t inserted a key.
I’m also checking the Event Viewer to monitor events before crashes occur. There are warning messages from DistributedCOM indicating:
The application-specific permission settings do not allow Local Activation for the COM Server application with CLSID and APPID assigned to the user Haleighs-PC SID from the address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running inside the application container. The unavailable SID is a security setting that can be adjusted via the Component Services administrative tool.
Additionally, there are error messages from TPM-WMI stating:
The Secure Boot update could not complete because the Secure Boot feature is not enabled on this machine.
In the reliability log, I only see that Windows Services processes have stopped functioning and that the system failed to shut down properly.
