PC issues with Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity
Recently during Fortnite playtime my connection to the game server jumped sharply to 1100 ping, staying steady without dropping. Initially I dismissed it as someone else’s activity, but after roughly five minutes I inquired with my family and discovered only my father was online, using Facebook. About ten minutes into this pattern my ping returned to a normal 30. Over the week this recurring issue has occurred every 1-2 hours, and today it finally stopped. Notably, other devices on our network remained functional during these spikes, suggesting the problem isn’t with the router or cable since it was detected by my PC. Here are my PC specifications for reference: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/b3tT9W
I couldn't connect to the router, though the cable recognizes it. I apologize for missing that detail in the post.
Do you have any network cards available? Consider adjusting ports on your motherboard or testing a different cable.
