Hi! Your setup seems stable until now, but you're experiencing several issues. It's an Intel i5-8600K with a GTX 1080, and you've had it running smoothly for a while. Problems include:

- Frequent high CPU usage during games and everyday tasks like browsing.
- Low FPS in most games, dropping to around 70-80 compared to the previous 144+ fps.
- Overall a very choppy experience.
- Games showing signs of instability such as package loss, latency changes, and low FPS.

You've already tried resetting Windows and checking hardware—anything else you can try might help.

Are you trying to restart Windows without a complete reinstall? Have you performed a thorough malware or virus check? There could be driver issues that a simple reset doesn’t resolve.

I performed a fresh installation of Windows and conducted several malware/virus scans, yet nothing appears to be detected. I also ensured all drivers were updated to their newest versions.

Possible hardware problem might be the cause. A complete Windows and drive reinstall could help. Have you lost any packages in Battlefield? Is your internet connected via cable or Wi-Fi? You can check the internet connection yourself.

It's already connected. I've been using the same internet setup since the PC was built, and I'm not sure if the high CPU load and low FPS are related.

You were discussing the topic of packages and latency, which relate to internet problems. If you're participating in online games, these issues might lead to lower frame rates because your device is delaying updates.

Sure. My connection is quick but can be inconsistent, and I think the sign might be related to the computer. The problem occurs even when using the desktop version. Appreciate the response!
