I installed Afterburner and tested Unigine Valley once; it restarted. Noted two flickers—something similar in-game. I plan to adjust the core and mem clocks again. Updated core clock and it rebooted quicker. Also reduced core clock by 100MHz, but reached the memory limit at 1850MHz.

The GPU seems to be in a critical condition, with little chance of bringing it back to working order. The chances of it overheating quickly are high, which might suggest a repair attempt could help. Other options exist technically, but they come with significant risks. Forcing the card into a lower state won’t improve gameplay, and reflowing is usually reserved for cases where the card fails completely. Right now, the market price for GPUs has risen sharply, making it difficult to secure good deals without much effort and luck.

It only reaches up to 50°C occasionally but it takes a long time. Plus, getting GPUs these days is tough. I’ll check around and see if anyone I know has one I can purchase. Thanks a lot for your advice and support—it really means a lot. Wishing you a happy new year!

From my side, I brought my desktop to a specialist who couldn't find the right solution. They performed renders and tested high-performance games on both my PC and another machine, concluding the problem was with the GPU. They mentioned the issue appeared early but stopped working after stress testing and more game runs. Since I returned the PC, the problem still exists. I plan to test it once I get a friend's GPU to verify if it's the GPU's fault. Also, note that I've owned my GPU since 2016—a GTX 1070—used heavily for rendering and gaming, so it’s likely nearing the end of its life.

Your GPU from 2017 seems to be the main issue here. Buying it secondhand makes sense, especially since you're only getting new parts. It doesn’t make much sense that your other components are working perfectly while the GPU struggles. Your friend’s GTX 1050, which he’s used for rendering and similar tasks, still performs well, so it’s likely the GPU itself is the problem. Also, you haven’t overclocked it, which probably helps.
