PC issues during gameplay but remains stable in stress tests?
Hello, here are your details:
Motherboard: MSI Mag B760 Tomahawk DDR4
CPU: i5-13600k
GPU: EVGA GTX 1080
RAM: 32GB 3200
SSD: M.2 2TB
PSU: Corsair
Power Supply: RM750e
750w
A few months back, my computer would crash intermittently during games. It would freeze suddenly, then restart after about ten seconds of sound. Recently, this has become more frequent, and I’m unsure what’s causing it. I’ve run standard tests for CPU, GPU, and RAM, but everything works fine. However, in multiplayer games like League or CS, I can play for an hour or two without issues, but then it freezes and restarts, sometimes crashing after just a few minutes.
I’ve tried the usual fixes:
- Purchased new RAM and a new motherboard; the old one had the RAM control light still on.
- Installed GPU drivers (using DDU) and tested various NVIDIA drivers for the GTX 1080 to rule out driver issues.
- Updated BIOS to the latest version.
- Reinstalled Windows twice.
- Replaced the PSU, but it didn’t help.
Any suggestions?
