Hey everyone, I faced a PSU problem last Friday with my PC. The power supply began emitting white smoke from the back panel. I acted fast, turned it off and unplugged it. It was a Corsair CX600M model from my brother’s old build, which I had acquired from an indoor flea market in 2020. The unit was originally part of his PC from 2015, making it about 11 years old. My dad gave me a replacement PSU from a flea market, and I used it after connecting everything. The system booted up fine, but when I put it under load, the display went blank within a minute. After shutting it down and trying to restart, I saw lights inside the case but no response from the monitor or boot sequence. I also attempted to cut power by holding the button until it drained, but nothing changed. I attached a photo of the PSU to check if the components were okay.
