My PC isn't starting after pressing the power button, and it took an hour before it would turn on. Now it works after 2 to 5 hours. I think the PSU might be the problem, but my keyboard and headphone RGB lights up when the switch is on. My brother suggested it could be a motherboard issue, but if that's the case, why do the RGB lights work? Any advice would be appreciated.

The motherboard might have various issues, and one working part doesn't guarantee the others are fine. I noticed diag lights in the top right corner. Check the manual for their meaning. If that helps or not, test booting with one RAM stick at a time in each slot. Swap them and see if anything appears on the screen when power and lights come on.

I attempted to bypass the Power SW pin to start the PC, but there was no reaction. It seems the system connector might be faulty.

I believe your brother could be correct. Do you have any unused motherboards available for testing the other parts?

The motherboard is in bad shape. Other components might have been affected, but hopefully not too much. I’m trying to stop using it now. Do you or anyone else have access to parts for the same chipset?

I visited a technician who mentioned a problem with the IC. Is there a chance to fix it or is there no solution?

Consider upgrading to a new motherboard and verify its functionality. The other technician mentioned the possibility of CPU damage from a faulty motherboard.

If your mobile breaks, related devices might fail too based on circumstances. It’s smart to check all connected components. Whether you replace the card or switch systems, it’s up to you.
